Thoughts on death penalty and life imprisonment?

This is something I've always wondered and I want to know GV's thoughts. What do you think about life imprisonment and the death penalty? Which is more "humane"? When do you think someone should receive the death penalty and when do you think someone should receive life in prison? Is one "better" than the other? Should one be "outlawed"?

me personally, I think death sentence isnt "humane" but its deserving. I mean, you killed someone, so why should you not die? eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

Why? did you get arested and you have the choice between those two?

Well, i acually think that life in prison is more humane, because the death penalty is like a murder in a way. Taking their life because they took someone elses. )usually thats what its for... dont know much about this, i am just 14 (almost 15

in retrospect i think tha death penalty should stay but death row should last MANY ....MANY! years so they suffer and die

if u kill then u should have tha worst of life, besides tha longer u keep these guys alive tha more YOUR parents are paying on tax dollars and in a few years itll be you paying,..... tell em Yuk

ummmm i think both are there for a reason, life for people who did terrible things, and death for those who did crimes against nature,.

I dont want to pay for a murderer or rapist to live in prison.

Kill them all, the rules in this country are to leaniant as is, diplimatic immunity, probation.

If you do the crime you do the time, and if you murder to do some other hayness crime I say off with your head.

yup you killed and you will be killed thats how it should be and if you rape somebody you get raped that would actually suck and im bet more people would stop raping other people
