Global Warming:Yay or ney - 03-03-2007, 03:34 PM

i personally say ney cause our weather is like a cycle...it will get warmer and then cool back down...them warmer to cool again...we've had this cycle for who knows how long...natural disasters are bound to happen...the happen all the time, but we as americans, just haven't realized it...

weather does occur in a cycle...but this is a lot more extreme than the average cycle system......and i think it shouldnt be overlooked

*thg here, .amp. asked me to remove him from the site, but to avoid messing with the forum database I simply moved his post count down to zero.

Edit: changing the post count didn't work so I'm just going to leave it for now.*

Nay. I don't believe it, there have been other spikes and drops like this in the past, this is nothing different, it's just that science has changed, and people are freaking out right now.

and what makes american's views on global warming any different than other countries? yes the earth goes through cycles, but it IS proven that the ozone layer is deteriorating, and it IS proven that global tempertures have gone up as a result of that deterioration, not a cycle.

i say yay, i can agree with what u said but weve been having some wierd weather

like what happened up here a couple weeks ago freaked me out

what happened was that one week we had clear sunny skies, not a cloud in sight, it got to almost 50 degrees in the beginning of Feb., that strange enough since the weather ussualy graduly gets hotter and hotter, not from about 18 degrees to 50

thats not the end of it though, after a whole week of upper 40's, the next week, it drops down to almost below 0

im not sure about global warming, but this weather lately is just unheard of

That's true. One day in January it was 65 degrees, and the next, it was 25, seriously.
