Mystery - 03-08-2007, 05:58 PM
Alright, this JUST happened to me, and me and my dad are completely befuddled.
I come home from Baseball, and I hop on the forums and go to put my headphones in (as I always do when I'm on the computer) and I find them like this. ![]() This one looks chewed, crushed, or like it got caught in something ![]() This looks ripped apart. ![]() This looks ripped apart. Now, I FOUND them nowhere near where I normally leave them... ![]() Neatly folded on top of my Tower. ![]() End of wire pulled out of headphone jack, and the middle part ripped off. Here's the mystery. I come home at 3 00 or so from school, and USE the headphones while on the computer, I remember listening to my music on my myspace page. Then, I leave for Baseball at around 5 10, and my dad comes home at 6 PM. He sits at my comp, and downloads the new Norton for me. He says he never heard anything break, and he didn't place anything on top of the tower. Before I got home from school, my cleaning lady was here, so that might explain the crunched up earpiece, but not the ripped off wires (plus I used them after she had left). Then there was a 50 min gap between anyone being in the house except for the cats. Cats are somewhat logical, with the chewed up headphone, and ripped wires (if they played around with them). Now, it's very logical up until the fact that they were placed neatly in a pile on top of my tower except for the fact that my bottom wire was on the ground and you know cats can't place them on top of the tower.....soooo what happened? Me and my dad are confused and a little creeped out by this. Any thoughts?

And dear god I hope I don't have rats or mice. But how would that explain them being neatly placed on top of my tower?

My cat has eaten XBL headsets and 2 headphones.
Heres what happened. Cat chewed them up. Cleaning lady came to clean, found the cords on the ground, instinct is to clean, so you put them on top of your tower.
