The End of The World.

I originally posted this on QsK Global. But I'm going to post it here to to get more opinions.

I was reading the Creation vs. Evolution thread and i decided to make this. I want to discuss the so called "Apocalypse" and Revelation. From sources that i will add links to later. There is much speculation that in the year 2012 the second coming of Jesus will bring about the Rapture. That the demon himself will rise through the ranks of the government and become out president in the election 2012. There are many accounts of this phenomena. The "I Chang" and Chinese work of graphs and informations that create a massive time line of history, It ends in 2012. The Mayan calendar, the most accurate calendar EVER created, ends in 2012. The Bible itself also shows the coming of Christ in this year also. December 21, 2012. People also believe the government is already corrupt and satanic.

I am very fascinated in this subject, I however do not believe that this will occur. But the sources from all over the world are all pointing to the EXACT SAME DAY.

this imo is to serious of a subject to talk over a forum, and the beliefs of the rapture is different for alot of prodistants (ag, babtist, catholic, etc.)

just like how AG belives that u go to heaven before the whole 7 years, but other christain prodistants think its either during or after... this is to big off a subject that even some preachers can barely brief on.

Any part of information of such that sparks something in your mind makes you think more and more about it. Could it be true? Could it be this? Could it be that? etc. Things like these are phenomenon's in which I do not personally believe in. News and the way it is put out is so misleading it's not even funny. The government control's the TVs and what are put on them. They portray people to be better than they are or visa versa. If the world ends in 2012, cool. I personally want to believe in Jesus, but at this point in time I have no personal evidence (in which I would like to have in order to believe him) that he is real. Maybe on the last day of the Earth I will believe in him. I dont see how one person from one country can end the world though. Hilary Clinton, Barack, Guiliani, Al Gore, etc. don't look or seem to portray themselves to me as devilish, or maybe the news just portrays them not to be, right?

Just my view.

if it was definite that the end of the world was 2012 (not favored, but if it was 100% definite) i would in some ways look forward to it. i mean, out of the millions of years this earth has been around, it just so happens to all end in your life time. you are the last generation of life that has occured...and it would be amazing i think. i personally do not fear/worry about death or dying....in all probability ill have done something stupid and gotten myself killed before 30.

but at the same time i wonder how sad it would be. to think that all turmoil and struggle and triumph that has occured, as well as miracles, over such a long span suddenly ends....its real sad.

i dont believe the world ends in 2012, i believe it ends whenever the sun dies out...which wont be for a while.

I am not a very religious person... even though my family is. I'm not some kid that hides from outside and rebels against religion either though, I'm just sorta.. there.

Anyway, I don't know much about it, but it seems odd that it would be accurate enough to say that the US government will be run by the devil in 2012.... or w/e it says.

If it said the us government.. i'd be scared.. because the us hasn't been a country forever....


Future is in the hands of us. No one can predict what will happen, no one ever will. Coincidences.

lmao, if everything points to a certain day being the rapture, than it obviously isnt going to be that day. Since the rapture is based off the bible, and the bible specifically says that the rapture will happen when absolutely noone expects it. meaning it cant be predicted.


And i would love it if anyone could give me the book, chapter and verse in the bible where it supposedly says the world ends on december 21st 2012.

this topic is very interesting to me too, I was going to do a report about it for school (about Nostradamus) but my teacher wouldn't let me. I ended up buying his book predicting everything up to the end of the world in 2012. I really don't believe it right now, I mean, alot of people thought the world would end in 2000 and nothing happened..and so far nothing in his book pertaining to 2006 is very accurate. It still is really weird though that so many different calendars and whatnot predict 2012 to be the end..
