torrent help

i dont know if anybody else uses torrents, but i do and i can only dl at 1or 2 kb a sec.obviously my dl is much faster than this. there are also plenty of seeds. does anybody know how to fix this?

i have the same problem, some downloads will be a few hundred kb's a sec, an other time it will be lik 1 or 2, i havent ben able to find a fix yet, if u do lemme know

You can't really fix it, downloading from a torrent is just bits of files from all the seeds, your gonna get some homo's with slow computers from time to time, who's gonna slow the dl down that or there may be a ton of leeches on the files draining it. What I do is just if you know hwo set you upload on the file to less than 3 kb's. For every kb upload you'll get 1 dl on the norm, that and close teh program and all other internet programs, all ive got to say on it.

Download from better trackers and private trackers, thats the best advice I can give you.
Also try Port Forwarding.

What torrent are you using? I am using Azureus and this seems nice to play with. Downloads are very quick.

However, you will get some slow downloads from time to time. Try to restart your program or even your router.

Usually you need to know someone to get into a private tracker. They do have registration open from time to time, but if you want a good one, they probably won't have it open to everyone. Private trackers are also usually pretty strict when it comes to downloading torrents from them, so if you do get into one, make sure to seed.
