They are easily comparable. Especially when you look at the types of dogs that were used. Pit Bulls... alright. I'm not saying "O Michael Vick, you should be let off because you killed a malicious animal", but I don't think personally, I have EVER met a nice Pitbull. That is not to say there aren't nice pitbulls but the charges should have been less I think because they are a malicious animal. That's like saying people should be put away for killing sharks... same deal IMO, and people DO brutally kills Sharks so... dont say they dont.

Then you haven't met anyone who raised their pitbull like any other dog is raised, you've only met people who raised them to BE malicious. Pitbulls aren't any more or less aggressive than any other dog.

true, but that dosent mean its right to kill sharks or the pitbulls, an ive met some nice pitbulls before too, so there not a 100% crazy breed just 99%, in ur original post i get what u mean tho how hes getting suspened from the nfl while other poeple ho go to jail dont get suspended at all, i think that he should die a painfull death, but by the sounds of it, he is mostly just guilty by assosiation, and shouldnt have lost his job in the entirety, i think the nfl just did that because of the morals behind the issue of dog fighting itself, even if he did return, he wouldnt be held in the same respect ever again just look at tod bertuzzi, although he made someone suffer a terrible injury an did so on purpose, he was still allowed back to play on team canada, he is a decent player but people were upset he was even on the team because of what he had done, im sure if any of the players who did things as morally wrong as micheal vick they too would be suspended frmo the league [correct me if im wrong tho i dont know what the other players have done so if they have done things as morally wrong ie. rape, murder, child molestation etc, just ignor my last statement then]

pitbulls are known to be unstable at times, children have ben mauled by there family pitbulls, im not saying no other dog has ever done that, but pitbulls are more well known to do that. unfortunetly though because of their ferocity (sp) people tend to get them for the reason to be aggresive, so you are right that if all pitbulls, were treated just like a golden lab they would be far less likly to be aggresive

Agreed. Pitbulls have something in them that is naturally malicious.
