The opposite of infinity is infinity. Infinity by my definition is all the numbers you can think of and more. It works both ways; positive and negative (-infinity,+infinity)

Logically, I lean to think "finite" as "in" is the prefix meaning no, which makes the word mean "no limit" (or something like that); "finite" would mean just the opposite, "limit" (I THINK???!!!??!!).
