capture card help please read - 11-14-2007, 06:53 PM
hey guys im having some trouble with my cap card and im wonderin if any of you guys can shed some light on the subject for me
first off i have a turtle beach usb video advantage, or an external cap card. my problem is my tv is composite, and i believe i purchased the wrong splitter. first can someone post a correct splitter for capturing video and sound from my tv to my comp, also if u can post a pic, link, or a place where i can buy the appropriate splitter. then if possible can someone tell me an in depth step by step on how to hook it up. thank you! edit: http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/ima...ith_cables.jpg this is my cap card if that helps at all

Well, from reading what you've got and what situation you're in, I can only give you some advice that works for me.
I would just say screw the tv and just play on your moniter. I have a 19 hp lcd monitor that I capture and just play straight off of. That way for you, you'll have sound and the whole nine yards in terms of quality. I suggest you use v dub to capture and play on. If you think your monitor is just too small and you can't tolerate the size. Just give it a try first. I said the same thing with my 19 inch and I found it not a problem at all. |
