double edit: i have actually thought of a questin for you kratos

. on giant songs like TTFAF do you take alot of time trying to memorize the notes or do you just try and play them as they come up on the screen.

@derive: Yes, that was a general path, although occasionally with that song I have to alter the path due to SP misses, which can and often do happen unintentionally, as you saw. So taking into account any SP phrases I may miss, I have a couple different options for certain parts of the song.

@jacqu3: No, I dont take time to memorize the notes, but for some songs after a certain number of plays I know what notes I'll be playing anyway, kinda like you just know how to play some songs on real guitar.

SP being star power, its basically knowing exactly when you should use your star power to get the optimal number of points from it. And basically that boils down to use star power where there are the most notes you can actually hit, while making sure it doesnt overlap another star power phrase.
