how do i get the album art onto my ipod? it only works if i buy songs online. if i have the CD irl and put it on my comp...the songs work perfectly and all but theres no album art...and if i find it and try to put it on my ipod and i fail epically

i like having the art too, but i dont buy my songs either. heres what i do that works usually:


-find the song you want art for
-make sure the artist name and album name sync exactly to the way iTunes has it in their store
-right click the song and click 'get album artwork'



give it a sec or two and itll load the artwork up. if it says "cannot find artwork for X song-X Artist-X CD" then i dont know what to do...but 95% it wont happen if you put it in right

first thing you want to do because of the obvious ease is what smeagz said, however, normally that doesn't work

so, if you have so free time and patience, you can get all the album artwork you want be first, google imaging the album cover then

Select Song>right click>get info>album artwork>add


that should work great, but its a little time consuming

itunes is poopy buuut

go too google write down album and go song you want to put it on and right click song and go to info or what ever, then go over to album art and put it in there

I use the drag a drop method. Google-Make window medium-highlight all the songs-drag album work.

the methods that smeagz and garbage described work for me...for some reason drag and drop doesnt work for me...i've tried it a million times
