Second of all, I agree with pretty much everything Frank has said. I don't think The Beatles are that good at all and think it's stupid for people to say they are the best band of all time when they are using facts about how popular they were. If some other shit band had broken all of those records and The Beatles were hardly known by anyone and you listened to their music, would you still think it was so great. I doubt it. I've tried many times to see what's so good about them but I just end up feeling underwhelmed. |

kill yourself
cerealy, kill yourself i talked to some old people about this iv come to the fact that they wur great because they came out at the right time. When things wur very boring in the 50s and a group and sound like this was unknown the werent the best at what they did, but they wur the first, or atleast 1 of the first...soo of course they hit it big...there was no market, they wur the market |

yeah because nat king cole, elvis, and chuck berry were nobodies in the 50s...it was a dead scene. beatles werent even that big in the 50s
sinatra had the 40s when war was more of a focus elvis along with nat had the 50s and changed music forever beatles did the same in the 60s and into the 70s

elvis isnt considered dull, especially for the youth, especially for the younger generation. whether you like his music or not its common knowledge he triggered almost a new genre, making the 50s a very important time in music history.
he was the rebellious sound all the kids wanted actually..so really it wasnt dull at all, the beatles just kept the momentum of the musical renaissance or whatever you wanna call it from the 50s into their era of the 60s

and was mostly popular with ladies, meaning not everyone adored him but he was still very very popular and big in music (of course) but for this new generation, the hippie generation, the kids who didnt want to just wear genes and a T, or the girls who didnt just want to wear a nice little dress, were looking for something different maybe not even looking, but when the beatles popped out, in 1960, they deff found something very different, and it matched them perfectly causing there huuuge success, like i said before, timing timing timing |
