i semi agree

but no matter what time metallica hit the music scene, they would get the attention and cred they have

because they are actually good at what they do...compared to new metal and old, they stand the test of time

Eh, Metallica really isn't anything special. I doubt that they would have become anything huge if they had started doing stuff later when more thrash bands were around.

i duno man, they have some great songs, and iv only heard a few sounds like theres, but even then, they still arent as good, but still worth listening too
