My dad is thinking about selling his 350z...I might try and coax him into letting me buy it from him...the only problem is the insurance would be pretty high and I cant use it in the winter here...

350z are nice, but yea insurance and it being a two seater is a downer.

That seems ass backwards

I should hang on to a car that has already had trouble with it versus getting a car with no trouble in its history?

I know I am a car novice, but please explain how that would last longer than my POS hyundai...

he just doesnt like the 350z's.... supposedly they are a disgrace to previous generation Z's. I cant really comment on that because I dont know much about either car or their history

However, I wouldnt buy it either... unless you will be keeping your other car. This is mostly because you will not be able to drive it in the winter (as you mentioned). If it is my only car... I would NEVER get one that i couldnt drive year round.

I would still keep my old car for sure if I got the z car, but I doubt I would be able to afford the insurance for two cars plus school...
