i was hoping someone could get me going in Zelda Oot, I used to love this game when i had a N64 and i have recently jus bought one and Zelda, Only prob is im stuck, i dont know how to start

ok...well where are you? i happen to be playing oot too and i think i could be of some help

EDIT: and if i cant help, be sure to look out for Stunt and Eyecon (the zelda masters haha)

im at the very start of the game,The Deku Tree, i have no clue what to do

from what i remember.....

-exit your house
-find 40 rupees for a shield to buy in the kokiri shop (the deku shield)
-go to this one field looking place (its elevated and against a wall leading up to it with stairs), enter the crawl space and figure out the maze (i believe u go forward till u hit the wall, turn left, and then a right but thats only from memory so dont quote me), and grab the kokiri sword
-exit the maze back through the crawl space and head as far right as you can through the forest place and try to exit the kokiri forest through this tunnel thing, a kid will talk to you and be like OMFG YOU HAVE THE KOKIRI SWORD!! and he'll let you through
-go through and read all the deku stuff (quite interesting, so be sure to read) that he says to you. say yes that you'll embark on his quest
-the deku tree opens his mouth and you enter it, now you're on the great deku tree dungeon, and im sorry but i dont remember that dungeon so i cant help you from there

www.zelda.com also has a free walkthrough that i use a lot (quite handy) that i would recommend you take a look at if you get stuck again

you have to collect 40 rupees to buy the deku shield and then get the sword. once u have them u go and tell that guy mido to get out of ur way to see the deku tree.

once in the deku tree climb the latter jusmp across the gap, get the map, go into the room further forward, jump down, climb up far side, grab slingshot, turn around shoot down ladder, leave room , kill skutella with sling shot, climb ivy, kill a big skutella, jump ALL the way down to break the web by the start, Climb onto the platform on the left, light a stick, stay in shallow water, go to far side, burn web, enter that room, defeat shooty thingy.... go through the crawl hole in the next room (defeat enemies if desired) once in room , it should be up above the water room you were ini a short while back, push down the block , light stick again, jump back onto block, swing stick, to burn through web on ground, defent shooter things in order 2,3,1 go into room, look around with slingshot, find glowing eye.... BOSS BATTLE

Shoot eye to stun and make her fall once shes on the ground hit her with sword, repeat, if you do it slowly she will lay eggs, defeat the babies, get heart container, the end

All of that from memory of 4 years ago, WHO NEEDS A GUIDE..... why is it that smeagz refers to stunt and eyecon as the zelda masters and not me????
