Life update....

Hey guys its been a while since I have been on this forum let alone on any forum for that matter. I just wanted to reminisce about life now and then. Feel free to update everyone else on what you are doing in your life nowadays.

So I joined gamingvidz back in 05, but I as not active until 06 but I forgot my login and password so I just started a new account on the site. I was 19 years old at the time of me joining the website I was a sophomore at UCSD majoring in Organic Chemistry. I ended up double majoring in organic chemistry/Japanese and I recently received my masters in business administration. At the time I worked as a tutor at a Salem Learning Center. I know work for a bio tech company called Gen-Probe. I am also now Married and have a son named Harris.=)

The first time I heard about gamingvidz was when I got matched up in a btb game with Dirty Elmo, Mailman, Acklete, Bonesaw, Ephrum, Phalanx, Frank. After playing a btb games with the guys I thought you guys were hella fun to play with. I believe I was getting trolled the whole time but it was Ephrum that told me to join the site. I forgot to join but one day a friend of mine showed me halogods first montage and from there I recognized the GV intro so I joined the website that night.

The first guy who added me on their friends list from the GV was DeOneAndOnly. He remember was a really mello guy that had a sick accent, and was a rapist at GFX. From there I got really close to Warren, Turreted, Bonersawww=), Acklete, Durka, Folly, Global Kid, Kiefer, Fatony69(My Teammate and friend), BlackShadowMist, Dansaw, Dexta, Novak, Ruth, Matt Bleez, Mattpwnz, Frank, shehateme, Sir Mumblez, Soldati, Spyki(Remember him), Stikupkid(My Teammate), The Akwarrior, Travkid/Jaws(Remember their squeaky voice), Truesoldiers(My teammate back in the day), Tv Grim, Headbusta(Funny as hell kid from florida), LiL Payne, Big Payne.

Funnest time at GV was when we would have those online tourneys and even though my team would always get knocked out by the IFS guys, or cold fusion it was still I really fun time. Another time that was fun was when I used to join in on abusedgoats MLG ALL NIGHT games and just play till 4 am in the morning, not to mention those epic btb games where we would all go in trolling and just having a blast on maps like terminal, waterworks, and coagulation.

Most memorable moment on the forum was when kingz Biggz I think his user name was? When he would talk made shit to everyone and then he hyped up montage, but when it got released it was the worst montage ever and everyone just started bashing and making fun of the kid. I think that is why he left the forum, but anyways he was an ass whole to everyone.haha

started gv back in 06 because of whit3boy 201. got close to a lot of members, and i even now am playing with people i never used to such as leaky or charlie. i was a freshmen in high school when i joined and wasn't that active till a year later. i ended high school, went to penn state for a year and then transfered to the local community college where i still am at. (also, **** sandusky) i switched majors 3 times, failed 3 classes and withdrew many more mostly bc i put work ahead of school bc i love my car and i love snowboarding, both cost a lot of money for me. I have worked at BJ's wholesale inc for almost 5 years now and they are helping me pay for my college. im earning an associates in Business Admin and then a B.A. in business management from penn state harrisburg. between what my parents are paying and what my work is paying there is a good chance i leave school without any debt which will leave me free to move out the day of graduation. (thank god) i used to play baseball and that was the major reason i went to penn state in the first place ( im a major hater of penn state) but grades didn't allow me to play. since then i had a stage 3 shoulder seperation which means to play again i would have to get surgery on my arm but i cant afford the 6 months off work to do so. im single atm bc my gf cheated on me (im happy it happened, i work with her and now she looks like the bad one even though i was going to break up with her anyway )

i still play halo reach but only team snipers and MLG since bloom doesnt account for so much.

Stage 3 separation ouch. I had a stage 2 separation while surfing 2 years ago.

Hm... let's see - I finally got my Comp. Sci. degree this past May. Now I'm programming under a professor and the lab he supervises with at UMD. It's like I'm a grad student, but without taking classes and I get paid real money.

Also, Master, you brought up a ton of names that I forgot about. I guess it's been so long it's hard to remember how active this site once was, and just how many people there were.

Glad to see all is well with everyone who still comes around every once in a while. I'd give anything to go back 6 years. Growing up sucks sometimes!

DJ Faw showed me Gv when I was 14, so 2006. But I didn't become an active member until 2007. I didn't get to play much with the well-known gv'ers as much, but I enjoyed meeting and playing with all of you.

Currently, I'm about to return to school for my Sophomore year. The past two were rough for me. Depression, alcoholism, and my ex and I experiencing a miscarriage. Went ahead and got rid of my mental breakdown, counseling. Didn't have a grand upbringing, suffering from PTSD (like half of America). Here's the good news though, I don't take any medicine. I've stopped smoking and drinking. My life is really getting on track. I wish the best for all of you out there with your careers, families, and future.

I'm pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, but anything can change.
