$10 to the winner of our new banner contest for GamingVidz.com!

Our banner has nothing to do with gaming and looks bad. So we're going to post a $10 contest to see whoever makes the best one.

Requirements:

This money will be sent via paypal - so have paypal. (I suppose he could mail you a check, if you make a really good one, but please have paypal if possible)

The winner is decided by me and some others

If nothing is good enough there will be no winner (don't worry, we will not just take
your work and use it without paying you)

We must be given the .psd and given rights to change it however we like

No author insignia in the banner - (remember we're paying money for it)

Image Requirements:

Dimensions are to be a total 755 x 159 (this is what you should post)

****The image is then to be broken into four different file sizes (using slices) -
287 x 159 - far left
170 x 159 - mid left
287 x 159 - mid right
11 x 159 - far right (this one is repeated when the site expands)

****This is only needed to be done after the winner is picked for now, just know that the far right of the image needs to be able to repeat based on the width of the page without looking weird. See the current banner if you still don't get it (the image that's next to the text "gamingvidz.com" is repeated.)****

General ideas of what we want done:

It would be important for the banner to incorporate the name GamingVidz.com in the LEFT hand side while incorporating the same colors already found on the site.

Also, if you could put in various game characters like a Master Cheif, a Socom guy, Zelda, half life, any other recognizable characters within the banner that are often seen in videos (or not seen often in videos, as long as they're gaming related) - somehow like in the background. In other words, don't just throw a bunch of multicolored characters into the banner. Incorporate the characters into the banner ... like actually make them bluish if need be - or something else - so they blend in with the feel of the site.

The main focus of the banner should be able to do this:
Portray that this is a site all about Gaming Vidz through the use of a professional yet great looking banner. (Not just a Halo site - remember that)

Nice, I like it.

but could you make gamingvidz.com on the left hand side and also include more gaming characters (see above ) and you don't need the silver bar on the bottom. Just make a smooth transition into the navbar (where the home, forum, user/cp, etc links) are at.

Ok no problem, Il do that I am tlaking with Mr. Dark he told me about this and I told him I will make some brushes tonight and I cant do it tomorrow but soon. And I work for free lol so no need for the 10$ anyways il get it posted asap.

i like the old one better then velocities the one now looks cool but if we have a new one it shoudl definatly have sumthing relating to halo since that is the majority of the site,
