Learn To Doubleshot

Apparently Halo 2 is STILL going to be a game at next year's MLG venues. In my opinion, this is both good and bad. The reason it is good, people still have a chance to come up and take a dump on FB; the reason it is bad, FB has a whole 'nother season to poop on kidz. I mean, I like Halo 2, but I would really like to see a different game there. What do you guys think?

Yea it would be nice to see another FPS played at MLG....maybe battlefield 2? But yea i deffinetly agree that there needs to be a new game, and super smash isnt even that well publisized. Not that i dont like smash, never really got into it but maybe they need to get some new games for people to play professionally. Oh and another thought about FB, if you think about it they just got signed to 1 million dollar deal for a yr (i think its a yr right?). So that might also be a reason why Halo 2 is still going to be played next yr.

i think its good, cus then maybe i will be able to attend the events cus ill be finishing school for good!
but some variety of other games would be good, like bring back tekken cus that was awesome!

The reason Halo 2 is their game and that it wont change is for one simple fact... fanbase. Halo 2, even with the release of Xbox360 still has the largest continually playing fanbase of any other game out there. This reason, and this reason alone... is why they are keeping halo 2.

Why is this called.. 'learn to doubleshot'?? My only guess is because by the time next season rolls around all MLG is gonna be is people doubleshotting all over the place.

dub shots are pretty easy ..all you have to do is practice them..once you get the feel for dub shots you can do it every time.....its just like learning how to bxr...

well, the only real reason they keep playing halo 2 in the MLG seasons, is because halo 2 is a really fast-actioned game and gets you pumped real quick. I have yet to see another FPS like halo 2 (besides halo 1 of course)
So whenever halo 3 comes out, mabey they will use that? But i think for a short time they wont be using halo 3, but still, they will be using halo 2. Mabey until another month or so after halo 3 is out
