September 11th

I remember the time of day let alone the day, month, or year. I was shocked because you have heard of planes being hyjacked, but no one was hurt and it was only taken to cuba or one of those countries. I try not to think about it, but I do remember it.

my sisters friends dad, would have been on one of the planes that got hijacked, he missed it because his cab didn't show up
but, i had no idea that anything had happened, my school didn't inform us of it, or anything, i didn't realuze anything had even happened until i got home and my mom told me what had happened

It was weird. I was in school, and they made an announcement, and they said, if any of your relatives work there, or were supposed to be there, you can come to the office to call.

Now, I didn't know he had a meeting there that day (or was supposed to go to one), but I had this feeling the rest of the day that he was linked with it somehow, and I was really nervous.


It is amazing, however, how many people have stories where others just missed being caught in something, or actually had someone they knew have anything happen to them because of these tragedy's.

Wow, it's so hard to think about though, I mean, what would life be like if my dad wasn't around. How would I have coped?

i was in the middle of class..when a teacher came running in and said...ther has been a plane accident and its on TV...so everyone in the school is watching..at first i thought it was just a place crash..blah blah..get out of class...but once i realized what was really happening...i didnt say a word for the rest of the day....just amazed...i couldnt believe, before my very eyes, i was watching people being killed, just ther, right in front of me, i just felt completly helpless...2001, 9 , 11....the day america realized that ther overshield ran out and we are truly not invincible

i was at the dentist getting a filling.. the doctor actually stopped working on my mouth and left me alone in that chair for an hour or so... i got uo because no one was in the back room whent in the lobby and everyone was watching it in the waiting room 30 people all huddled around 1 tiny screen...

saddest day i can remember but also the day i realised that i was proud to be an american lol

Ohhh... if you haven't seen the movie 'Jesus is Magic'...Sarah Silverman's new stand up movie (and where I got the GT EPHRUM is MAGIC) I'd suggest giving it a rent... by far the funniest stand-up movie I've seen in a loooong time.

But no... I remember that day vividly... we were in school, and all day as we moved from class to class, all we did was watch the news...all day, it was aweful... I remember it just like I remember the Columbine shooting, when I was living in Colorado... I got home from school, and my dad was sitting at home watching the news, I was like 'what's going on?' and we watched the news coverage all night... it's definatly weird being part of importan historic events (well...not being part of them directly... but watching them on the news...and just living in the times that they happen)... it's just bizar in like, 20 years from now... to be telling my kids about the events... like my parents talking about Munich... or Neil Armstrong walking on the moon... bizaaaar.

our teacher told us there was an accident in new york city. Then kids kept getting pulled out of school. I thought it was just a normal thing until I went home and saw the true horror

I didn't believe it when I first saw it. It looked like something out of a movie. It actually took me a couple days to understand the magnitude of what had just happened.
