Fooking Ipod's - 08-13-2006, 05:20 PM
Alright, I've finally got some videos encoded for my iPod, after forgetting about it for about a month. They are already in MP4 format, like is needed, but now I don't know where to put them. Should I put them in the file that has my music, or what? What folder, programs needs to have them for it to be able to be downloaded to my iPod?
-Thanks.

Sorry for the double-post, but this needed a bump. Anyways, can I do files that are longer than 5 minutes? Say if a montage is like 8 minutes, is there any setting on the codec that will allow me to convert all of it. For some reason, it keeps only letting me do like 33 seconds.

well for me, this is what i do
i just copy/cut, my video out of my limewire temp folder (thats where i downloaded my video) then paste it in my itunes folder then open up itunes file>add new file to library>find video>open then it should be in the video section of your itunes i'm not sure if this will help you, do you have the itunes with the actual videos section? |

I don't have an iPod video, but there are plenty of programs at best buy or circuit city. Look them up in google and get them anyway you can and see if it works.
