i have my own news that i felt like sharing

if you dont know...i work at a grocery store lol...no making fun..well i have only been working there since the begining of summer, and tonite i got an offer to get out of bagging and register, and work in the office...like an office manager...i duno what i should do..accept it or not....i really cant make up my mind, if im gona be ther much longer or not...i duno..just felt like sharing...i feel proud tho..cuz i got this offer so fast, i must be doing somethign right

you mentioned somewhere before that you didn't have enough money to attend college. i would suggest taking the job and saving up to at least attend community college. its worth it in the long run. not knocking on your or your job or anything, but you dont want to be 30 and managing a grocery store.

hey I might as well share my story too..

For my first job I worked at Chicken Express......There was 3 managers, 16 employees,and three cooks.....Well The employess did everything BUT paperwork and I worked there from May05 to may06 and on the weekend before I quit it was MLG dallas and I was gonna go with my old team Godz Mafia.....(iiiii MAC iiiii, xTHxP00PYHEAD, Bubbles, TsO Rape)..........Well I had Saturday schools to sdo So I could graduate(attendance thing and yeah GRADUATE) so I HAD to do a Dbl sat. School(8 hours) so I had to miss MLG and Call in to quit Chicken E(instead of gettin fired......

No manager privilages though...but I'll tell you one thing.....It might get REEEEEEEALLY Boring

oh and about the community college money.....In feb 05 my parents divored and when my brothe went to navarro he got financial aid and recieved 600 dollars CASH at the end of his semester and I have financial aid and I cant wait to get my money.....It might just be 400, cuz I graduated Intro. Algebra and had to buy a new book

yeah but me and school dont get along at all..i mean at all..i just cant do school....but i really dont want to work at a grocery store for the rest of my life...all i really want to do is travel and experiance things....but then again the extra money would be great...and it doesnt mean that ill be ther permanantly

Frank taking this job offer in no ways says you cant still quit, but it will look much better on a resume, and will give you a lot of expierence that you can carry with you further in life. Also you should be getting a raise.

The experience you get is whats worth it, I worked in a body shop for 5 years straight out of high school instead of going to college. I took night classes and got I-CAR certified so now I can go anywhere in the country and probably get a job at a shop. I inspect cars now but I would never have the knowledge or experience if I didn't work at the shop first. You might as well take this position if it pays more, and then figure out what you want to do.
