pple live in cal., when there has been huge earthquawkes in the past

pple live in the heart of the country....they're constantly bombarded by tornados

i live in FL and hurricanes come every year....u cant blame the pple, cuz this excuses cud be made for any1 of these other place when something bad happens

wow......the gov't, IN AMERICA ESPECAILLY, was set up for and by the pple....plain as that, if some of those pple get hurt, they shud be helped immediatly (uh....bad spelling)

And they did help, but they could not save everyone. I believe they did a good job. People need to be responcible for there own actions. If I lived in Irael, I would need to be ready for a bombing, if I lived in Africa I would expect disease, living on the gulf coast you get nice beauitful weather, but you also get hurricanes, and if you are going to live there be responcible enough to expect hurricanes.

But NO is a completely different situation. If an earthquake happens it destroys things just like a hurricane in FL. But in NO the levies are what screwed them over.

yeah...i agree....because were im at in NC we get some naasty hurricanes....but if the levees were known to be weak, maybe something should have been done about it

We will have to disagree then, but even so NO put themselves at an even greater risk living under sea level, with only levies to protect them.

But since its not the people to blame, lets just have the elected officials who live no where near NO throw a protective blanket over us, so we wont get hurt. Want me to tell you what happens when government start doing that?
