AKA sports turf, sprint turf, or field turf depending on what company you bout it for. Its the best playing surface for football today, because it can filter 100" of rain an hour, makingh the playing surface always dry, also the ground is much softer meaning less knee injuries, and because of the make up of the field its very hard to get your cleats cought in the ground, so less ACL tears
