This has just realllly been getting on my nerves lately.

It seems, as I've heard all over xbl, and every forum I go to, the new thing to say is "You got Jewed", or other variations of it.

Now, I'm Jewish. No, I'm not religious or anything, but it really gets to me when so many people say this so freely. You never know who you're going to be around or in a party with or whatever when you say that, like, wtf. I don't even know what it means, obviously it's stereotyping Jews, but I mean, come on.

I don't know where it originated, but I'm just getting really tired of hearing it everywhere, it reallly really gets to me.

I know most of you won't take this to heart, but I just had to get this out into the community, since it hasn't been voiced before.

saying "you got jewed" means "you got screwed"....because as most of us know the jews got screwed in world war II and in like the 400s or something around there

i personally dont say it because i too find it kinda offensive. lets hope it doesnt turn into the fame of "pwned" or "noob"

i have alot of jewish friends and most of them dont care when ppl say stuff like that but to be on the safe side i dont say it. I dont really get why u get pissed off about it ppl make fun of every one u should prolly try being back (im not black) but they get made fun of more a a group of people than jews do

there actually is a term that dosent involve jews at all i cant remember what it is but its not actually discriminating....wether people use it that way is up for discussion but i know there IS a term that means that like you got stiffed or somehting along those lines but poeple probably DO use it as a term for/against jewish poeple...

i know gunna and frank say it ALOT like today i saw gunna had a thread so i looked at the first line and it saied jewed and im like wow he says it way to much

even tho im not jewish i find it offensive and racist to jews
itas like saying if u went to jail u dont say "dam i got blacked" or anyhting like that so i think every1 should stop saying it

I have to agree with you on that. It is a very bad habit to say such things. One of my friends is a muzlim and people are always making racial comments on live without knowing he is one of them. The wierd thing is he just never says anything cause he is super chill.

why is it stereotyping. unless you want to discount the last 1950-60ish years of human existence, saying that Jewish people haven't been hated, chased, and otherwise chased out of every country they've inhabited (up until the Six Day War which firmly established Israel as a country), then by all means you haven't been screwed.

last time I CHECKED though, words like the 'Zionist movement' and 'Diaspora' have meaning to all those otheriwise historically disenfranchised Jews across the world.

i get upset though when someone makes a jew joke and a kid whos jewish gets offended...then when i ask him when world war II even started he has no idea.

you can label yourself jewish, but if you dont even know anything about them dont get offended. i dont mean that this pertains to you max in any way but ive met people like that before.

i also cant stand when black people are called the n-word when i guarantee more than half dont even understand why its offensive
