[Trailor] Pretty Dead Things

Now that I got that out of the way...

So, some of you may have heard me talk about how my housemates are movie-makers. Well, they just released the theatrical version of their movie. I went to the premeire of it the other night.

Its obviously an independant film right now. But they are in the process of talking with other companys (such as Lionsgate) in hopes that they will pick up the movie.

The movie is called "Pretty Dead Things" and its a horror/comedy that crosses many boundaries and will make you say "What the F**K!?" Quite a few times.

i dunno why you guys think it's absolute shit... imo it wasn't half bad. i mean, you can't expect the best from people doing independant work.

Being a filmmaker myself, I thought it was pretty well done.

Obviously, you people don't know the difficulty of coming up with a good idea of a movie, and then getting the right actors, editing it, and making it, well, perfect.

As of right now, it's a little rough around the edges, but it looks promising.

Very well edited trailor, although I felt it was a little drawn out.

Sounds interesting.

Didn't intrigue me much... but if I ever come across the whole version I'll give it a look see.

Glad to see at least some people can appreciate the hard work these things take. Its not like they had Millions of dollars to go with all the crazy special effects and crap.

@Max: I agree, the trailor was too long. Also, the full, theatrical version makes the trailor look like crap. I went in with really low expectations after seeing hte trailor but was pleasantly suprised.

@TDM: Yes, that is a severed wang.
