So in Halo the more time you put into the game (bettering your skills and technique) tootally isn't the same thing...right? Because if I've never played Halo before I can automatically hop on and compete with people who have been playing for 3+ years, even tho we've got an even playing field... because our health and weapons are the same...

You guys are honestly making me question whether or not any of you actually graduated Highschool...

so what your saying is, all it takes to beat the end game raid bosses is all 25 people to right click and let the game do the work?

because i could have sworn it took 25 people on a voice-chat client coordinating everything to achieve a common goal. even if you have the ultimate gear, the crazy fights still take understanding and communication. each person has to understand their role.

sure its "all about the gear" but your forgetting that it takes more than just time to get their. it takes skill to understand HOW to handle each encounter, and to do it successfully. something non wow players wont understand, regardless of your "rpg" experience, mmo's are totally different.

no actually

some people pick the game up much faster

and no matter how long i play..i probably will never be better than mitch....because he just has a nack for it...better hand eye coordination

some people can pick up a controller and pick the game up in a matter of days...others can play all week and cant comprehend a BXR or Doubleshot

and i question if your ever gona stop acting like your better than everyone else......


p.s- our MM levels dont help us beat other teams in competitive games..and we dont have BXR levels that we can just get up to help us beat other people..its not an RPG game...RPG games dont take skill they just take time

To go along with Frank's post, a perfect example would be Wolfyyy who was basically on SV before Vegas but MLG wouldn't let them drop Poon for him because it was too late in the season. He picked up the game very fast.
