The differences come in the gametypes, weapons, and armor(if available). I've played a good amount of RPGs too, and for the most part, I've liked them. All of them have been different, I really don't think I could compare them to each other, because of how different they are. Now, when I look at WoW compared to these, it is SO different, because I've never played an MMO. It is a whole new experience, and since I know plenty of people, from real life, and from online, it is really fun. If I were to compare this to Halo, yea, I would say it's like when I first got XBL. I got to play with people I knew, and that whole experience was something in itself. Because instead of a LAN, where you had to prepare for it, you could just get on, see someone, and join their party. All I can say to sum everything up is, people who try to generalize because they have played similar games just sound like morons.

WoW is like no other RPG I've ever played. I for one am not a fan of RPG's at all... but WoW's MMO makes the game completely different then any other RPG that I've tried. Frank for you to say WoW takes no skill... how long did you play the game? 2 days and like 5 levels? So you automatically know everything it requires to play? Umm.. ok. I just don't understand how people can be so bent on taking part in conversations they have absolutly nothing to do with/know nothing about... and to think that they're right having opinions and views that are completely unfounded by any kind of REAL experience? Umm... it just baffles me. But you guys can keep generalizing and stereotyping... you're only making yourselves look retarded to the people who actually know what they're talking about.

If he would have got to a lvl 10 or 20 and then said it takes no skill his opinion would have some strength. Personally I believe WoW takes skill especially in Warsong Gulch. For example these gnome rogues or any rogue can almost beat down anybody if they know what there doing. They run in circles around my body stun it they basically kill me in 2 hits. Then I cry, do a /emo, then go talk to my school counselor.
