I am downloading the 10 day trial as i post this. I am going to prove that I can play WoW constantly for 10 days and not get addicted. I'm going to be on the Stonemaul server.

The download finished overnight, so now I'm ready to install!

OK here are the rules....

ANGELO'S WORLD OF WARCRAFT CHALLENGE
1.) I will spend a significant amount of time playing WoW over the course of the next 10 days
2.) I will make the most out of these 10 days by learning about the game, trying to understand it, and trying to make some friends
3.) At the end of the 10 days, I will honestly judge the game. I will not say that it's amazing and I'm quitting Halo, and I will not bash it without giving it a chance

I have a back-up plan in case I become addicted. I am going into the world of warcraft with no safety net except Duffman. He has promised me that if I become addicted to WoW, he will pry me away from it. I do not want to play this game any longer than 10 days, but there is a chance that I will become brainwashed. If this happens, I have arrangements for Hart (Duffman) to save me. So do not fear for my sanity.

i dont think wow is as addicting as it is just plain fun. i stopped but i wanna start again not because i am a wow addict but because it was a fun game to play. deffinatly better than halo.

If you play 10 days consistantly, you will become addicted. As long as you don't get on and kill a bat and get off. You have to try to level... You will become addicted, you will.

Also: When I was over at Verity's house (quite a while ago), he showed me WoW, i made a human mage, and didn't even get it to lvl 2. I thought it was the most anoying and retarded game in the world... of warcraft. Then I tried making another character one week later. Got it to level 2, still thought it was dumb. But once I got my own copy and got help from GV and acually learning how to play, i was hooked.

The begining couldn't be anymore boring. But once you reach lvl 10, instances and pvp opens up. And it gets better from there.

EDiT: BTW, it might download faster if you go into your firewall settings and get the code from World of Warcraft Community Site and set them in so it unblocks WoW specificly.

wel soo far i doubt im gona conitnue with wow after the 10 day.....and i played for a while last night.....i might play tonite when i get home.....

it really isnt addicting if you just say....umm..i dont wanna play this

Wow Wow is that addicting thats funny hope you have a good time, im personally not playing wow because i know how addicing it can get good luck.

I really don't have much fun at all playing WoW unless I'm playing with friends...Halo is so much more addicting to me. I'm a hopelessly addicted Halo player that plays WoW when I am tired of Halo or my connection craps out on me (which happens about every day now for some reason).
