WOOT! I got a [Thunder]. It is an amazing weapon. And i am working to get a [Deep Thunder]. Deep Thunder is one of the best weapons that are in the game right now.


This is a very good pvp video that i found with some nice editing and amazing gameplay... This is definently worth watching. You can stream it off filefront if you want to watch it, or you can just download it. The warrior in this video has a Deep Thunder. This is just showing how powerful i can be with it.

sword spec > mace spec.

lionheart wins. in arena you're going to go up against a warrior in 90% of your arenas, and stunning a warrior in arena is just helping him out (unless they're retarded and dont have second wind).

sword spec is huge burst damage, and throws healers off. a couple hundred less dmg on MS? not a big deal? less stam? not a big deal, because that "5% Fear Resist" on lionheart seems to work everytime death wish or zerk rage is on CD. it's basically win for PVP. and t2 lionheart has built-in crusader?

plus, swordsmith 1h owns for both tanking and pve dps.


but grats. you still at 350BS? and did you just start leveling it or what? getting to 375 is a pain in the ass.

as of 2.1. sword spec is broken right now.

i think it all depends on personal preference. i don't really like the lionheart weapons, because the 5% fear resist is a waste IMO, (deathwish, berserker rage, recklessness). plus, it has the fastest speed. (i like slow speed on 2h)

i like axe because of the burst damage, and with poleaxe spec crit should be very high (like 35%). although crit and AP are very easy to get, whereas an extra attack and a stun are not.

mace owns. it may not own warriors because of second wind but imagine getting frost nova'd by a mage, and as he attempts to back up you nail him with a stun. mace spec has an 11% proc (i think, this is all based on forum math) and the mace itself has 2-3% stun. plus the stam adds an extra 540hp, which is great for warriors who don't want to waste sockets on stam.

this is all based on the forums, im not even a 70 yet, but i think im going to head mace spec, even though it is the pussiest looking out of all 3. you can't really go wrong with any of the BS weapons (though i think gorehowl is getting buffed next patch, making it better than the t2 axe).

i love sword spec... but the stun + mace spec is amazing in pvp... plus it has the slowest attack speed which = bigger ms crits. I wanted the sword, but in thinking it through, the mace was the best choice....

i still wear my HoJ when i PvP.

because in all honesty, the unexpected burst 1-1.7k attacks own healers rhythms.

sure, the 5% fear resist is kinda lame on itemization... but seriously, in those lonnnnnng arenas; it comes in handy when DW is on CD.
