My Stonemaul Dilemma

I'm at a bad spot right now lol.

When I first got WoW with a friend, we played a lot on some different servers, I got 2 characters to 60, and then sort of got out of the game.

Last week I downloaded the 10 day trial of the beta along with my brother, and we have level 17 Human Paladin/Rogue combo.

I'm not sure if he's going to have time to play, and I absolutely despise leveling again by myself.

The actual problem though is that I don't have the xpac, because I said I wasn't going to buy it unless I hit 60 without it first, in order to make sure I didn't quit.

I desperately want a Paladin, since I love support and I've already been a Druid/Priest, but I'm afraid of buying the xpac. (I hate Bloodelfs lmao)

I understand that 40$ isn't that much, but I'm afraid if I delete my 17 Paladin and make a Bloodelf Paladin on the horde side, that in 1-2 months I might not want to play WoW again, and would have wasted 40$. Keep in mind I don't have a job.

I was just curious as to an HONEST opinion. I've had low level friends play and want me to run them through WC once or twice, and I will admit, I hated it, it was so boring lol

Do you WoW players think I should buy the xpac to make a nasty BE paladin, and IF I did, (just an honest opinion). Would anyone be able to take me through some instances like maybe WC or SM every once and a while for quick quests/gear?)

I dunno about the horde but finding a VC alliance group is a mofo lol.

It's actually kind of fun to be alliance for a change also :'(

I just don't want to end up having lost 40$ to be playing alone and have time wasted on a level 23 Bloodelf Paladin lol.

Another thing is that by level 17, I already have 19g and 100 mining/25 enchanting

anything horde is better than ephrum finding out your AC name...and camping you.

how is VC hard to get a group for? in every AC server ive played, theres like 50 groups in LFG 24/7 and if you go to west fall /1 is full of people looking for 1 or 2 more

What I did was play most of my trial then when I decided I'm going to continue playing this game I went out and got the expansion. The BE starting ground and Ghostlands are the coolest places so I would get BC just to add something new to the game. And about leveling I'll help you with what Instances I can do like RFC, WC, and SFK, by myself or with my friend.

I used an invalid character in my name, and this way I can ask for a free change haha, clever ftw.

I will just hate the 1-60 horde grind + having no money and being an Emo Elf, but I'll consider it lol.

But yeah, if you roll Horde with the expansion (btw I hate BE's too lol... and my main is one)... I dunno, I wouldn't roll a paladin. Altho, I'm gunna start up on my mage that I'll be twinking at 39 soon... so I'll definatly quest the lvl 10 thru whatever quests with ya.

But yeah, there are always people to help out with instances 'til you hit around 45+
