i know i need to compress the files

Download Xvid
Install and compress your video with it
Save file as AVI
Than edited it on WMM or Vegas and when you save it save it to WMV
Thats what I do

Would compressing with the huffyuv codec result in smaller file size in the overall finished montage?

Cause I haven't been using that codec, I just went and had em un-compressed cause I got the room for all my clips. Keep the quality at max
