PS3 better graphics than X360? - Page 3

Well the've already tried that ,check out the Armored Core 4 Vids they have at IGN. They want you to decide but its hard to tell they look about the same even though in the ps3 video there are more things goin on in it like buildings being cut down by machine gun fire and the 360 version just has some particle affects and no buildings being blown up just shot at. Besides it's way too early to judge them now since the PS3 isn't even finished . It could be until 2007 we even see the Beast. You can't even really judge the two on graphics since most of the Tech guy's in the magazines and everywhere else has stated or say the GPU's are about even Which I might add the MGS4 trailer was not a FMV sequence Hideo Kojima dosn't us FMV's he's all about doing cinematics in the actual game engine with that said the PS3 will have great graphics and I love how Gears of War is looking for the 360. Since the GPU's are more than likely equal besides it's ATI versus Nvidia one will do somthing better then the other and like wise the only real differnce I would see between the two systems is the CPU the ps3 will have a lil more processing power so maybe the graphics won't be better but you might notice smarter AI more enimies on screen and other things.

So, it could just come down to three things:
1.How well the Devolopers take advantage of the hardware.(taking advantage of GPU's and CPUs)
2.First party games!
3.Is you HDTV bad ass enough? Both companies are aiming for the High Def Generation so, when and if the systems get to a point where there is a graphical diffrence will your TV be good enough to notice? For a fact it will look good on a standard tv but even better on A HD.

When you think about it, Sony doesn't need a huge online system to sell systems. They have the third party developers to help them succeed like they have before. But somewhere in there online play has been added. And while it hasn't been better than the competition (Xbox Live), people still tend to play it alot. Another huge reason the PS2 was so successful is because of the mainstream gamers. Sony caught all of the noobs with Madden. After that people kept buying. So to sum it up, if Sony can keep the mainstream audience, they will succeed in being number 1 once again.

I heard from somewhere, wasn't on here, that the whole Final Fantasy franchise would be going to xbox. THAT IS BULLSHIT. If anyone ever hears that from someone else, shoot them. What is FF XII coming out on? THE PS3! Sony Enix has said nothing about moving their coporation towards the box, and they shouldn't. The only rumor concerning FF that might have any truth is the FF7 remake. Axe that other shit. How many other people would by FF7 if it was remade anyways. I would and I also believe that it would probably sell better than the first one.

the graphic will b betta and i agree that the online isn t up to the standards of the xbox360 but if they do wat the 360 is gonna do and thats giving free network play on the weekend then it will boost the profits of the ps3 alot and thats how the ps3 cud be betta

the ps3 is never gonna match the 360 when it trys to do its own online experience, cus come on- net play for ps2 sucked ass!

lol yes it did but come on it onli got there coz of halo wid out xbox live there will be no battle between microsoft and sony! Sony would have kiked its ass so badly lol and anyway Sony dont put all there money into the network play coz they no its not an area that they can beat but the otha areas they can such as graphics !
