PS3 Will Suck

Sony always has bad controllers I dont know if they are making a new one but still sony controllers suck. Second it seems like Sony games arent as smooth as XBox games. Its just my opnion

they fixed that like a year ago

and even tho ps3 will suck ballz compared to 360 2 of my frineds would defend that the ps3 is god in disguise!

the graphics will probably get better as the system progresses. multi-core processing is new, and the cell chip architecture is totally new, so game programmers probably aren't familiar with the ins and outs of programming for it yet. while the cell chip probably does have more flat out raw processing power than the 360, i dont think that it will have anything more than a marginal advantage over the 360. in fact one my friends is trying to get into a computer engineering course taught by nvidia's chief scientist. topic? : programming for highly symmetric multi core processors.

as much as i hate sony the ps3 will probably push more units than the 360 simply because of the overseas market. however the ps3 has to succeed in america as well, or sony will lose a lot more than a console war.

software is what makes money for game console developers. hardware loses money for the manufacturer, so without good titles even a very advanced system will fall flat on its face. right now i'm not seeing too many 'sony exclusive titles' to warrant spending so much money on the console.

sony is falling far behind with many things, and including the battery recall & the rootkit issue, they are definitely loosing popularity with the public. im not sure how many people know about the rootkit issue, but well, people still heard about it. i think the ps3 will sell a decent amount of units, i know some people who can't wait to get their hands on it mainly because they are little sony fanboys. but um...er... sony is falling behind with tv's and other electronics correct?

also, i think they have invested too much into blue ray, it is a waste of money imo. unless they really get something useful out of it, it is just something that can hold more space, which is good in some circumstances, but not really needed as of todays standards.

true, xbox360 is the better value and purchase, but im still rooting for ps3
