nice frank, ur definately improving a lot. on the layer with the medal, hit select from the menu and hit color range. make sure ur zoomed in a lot and click the eyedropper on the white in that little jaggy background. hit okay and hit delete a bunch of times, thatll soften that edge up a bit.

looks like u got the hang of photoshop, you should try doing some grundge artwork or incorporatings various scanlines...i think ill post a tut on making scanlines for all of you who dont know. its real simple

Except Frank's is better blended and nice looking than your's but they are very similiar..
