Now that im getting better at photoshop i want to know how to get some sweet text.
Any Ideas or tuts that you ahve seen would be nice. I want to know how to get the text to roll like in my second sig with the "r", how it goes under the rest of my name, and some other cool shiat

what you do is have your text, ctrl+click the thumnail for the next to select it. then go to window>paths. create new path from selection. then using the pen tool transform the path to how you want it and then fill the path and add effects such as bevel as needed.
if youd like a tutorial on this i can make one up real quick.

Actually when I made it the R just barely came below it. So I rasterized the R and used the single column marquee tool and did a pixel stretch on the bottom part of the R with the transform tool. Then I merged the 2 layers to make it one word. Not hard or anything but if you don't use PS much then you might not know what I mean. I can try to explain better if you want.

yup dmons right, thats definately a way to do it thats simple and easy to use, that gets great results. but if you wanted to transform text, like think metallica how the m and a arrow down. things like that you need to make a path. when im home ill write a lil somethin up. right now im at work
