Sig and pic questions...

Since everyone is going nuts on sigs right now, I feel like I need to know some stuff since I know nothing.

Here are a few questions I have.

Where do you get all of your pictures? Just random image searches online?

Can the image be in a non square like shape? Can it be circular or uniquely shaped? Can you make your own basic image... like in ms paint or whatever?

Is there a way to really judge which one is good and which isn't. Isn't this sorta like looking at a painting... many people will have different opinions. I keep reading responses like 'gee I don't like that one' or 'oh that's sick.' Why....?? Is there a killimanjaro or overkill of sig pics? If you know what I mean.. I barely know what I mean haha.

How long does it take to learn the basics? I know absolutely nothing but want to experiment with a few things to get some interesting pics. It doesn't have to be hardcore sicknasty pwnzor the noobzor, but I want to make it more than the default boring pic I have in mind.

I DLed Adobe's CS 2 or whatever but haven't installed it yet. Is this the WMM Or Vegas for image editing? Is it just load the picture, do some brush crap (or whatever you do) and make it look better?

I have no real desire to make knights, supermodels and masterchiefs or whatever for sigs, but I do want to make a few things that have to remain mysterious for now. They will not be for my current sig. That goat is untouchable. If this is a huge task to learn, I'll just ask someone else.. but I am interested in learning.

CS2= one of the greatest picture editing softwares out there...

it is all relevent bout renders...... which one u like... usually everyone has a general idea.. but which sig u like better or w.e. is up to u...

i d'led fattonys toolbar... so its easy to find renders...

ive had PS for 10 days... and ive become this good hahaha.

1: pics or renders can be found all over tha internet, random image searches, and render sites

2: yes sigs can take any form u choose, it actually makes it more intresting

3: no, good is wat u think of ur own work, other ppl cannot tell u something u feel confident in is bad, i think skillful is wat u mean

4: learning tha basics doesnt take long, but it also depends on ur personal style for ur sigs

5: no, to do vid sigs is more complicated, i can elaborate further if ud like tha help

6: id be glad to help u in any way
