Latest Sig - HELP ME PLEASE! ;^(

So.. I made this new sig like, and I've always had problems with depth and blending stuff. The sig is shown below. I don't really want comments and whatever, more kinda tips on how I could improve depth and blending things..



So, as you can see, the depth is not as good as it could be, which is really annoying, cause depth is one of the main points of the kind of style I want to create for myself (sorta deep, dark). As you can also see, the font is absolutely d1SgUsT1nG3rl33 bad, cause all of my fonts are terrible. If anyone has any links to good fonts I'd appreciate it if you could show me. (Calvino, you're fonts are perfect, gimme some. ;^]). Anyway, that's about it I think. Any tips and whatever will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Depth - can be give to a sig in many ways.
Lightning, easiest way to give a little more depth to a sig is through the lightning.
Make a new layer, take out a soft round brush tool @ 200 or 300px and make a light.
When you add lightning to a sig, be sure wher to put it.
Look at the render, where is the light coming from.

Next thing to do is curves and levels, play around with it and you'll notice when you get something good.

Also use the filter Sharpen.

Blending - erase the edges of the render, if using a stock you can use a little bit of smudge.

Text - use the DEAFULT fonts.

Focal point - the render7main stocks hould be the focal point.
That is what you look at, so dont make some big things around the focal point that makes you not see it and it looks bad to have more then 1 focal point.

Flow - the way of the sig, look at the render and see what direction it have and make the effects go after that direction.

k so this kinda is a comment or w.e. but i dont think the background works with the render... the background is one of the most important things having to do with blending seeing how that is what u blend ur rendeer intol... for me its too dark.. and doesnt have enough going on in it to really blend the render into it.

Thanks for the tips guys, and acklete, I advise you to stay away from me when it comes to sigs, I really am bad.. Anyway, I'm probably gonna quit making them, I suck too much, and I'm not getting any better really.

if ur not getting ne better... then you should try looking at tuts on chaosgfx, and royalgfx, those places have some great tuts for beginners... and ive noticed that ur sigs... all have a central style so try somethign new to spice it up.
