HaloBoards.com is looking to sponsor a team for MLG 07!

I've been in contact with a few teams, but I wanted to make an official announcement about it. We haven't selected the team to represent the site yet, so if you believe your team is good enough or worthy of a sponsorship for MLG's 07 season let me know.

We will be commiting at least the entry fee for the entire team, but may provide more sponsorship money based on the team's finishes at the events. Another aspect of being on the team that is sponsored by HaloBoards.com, will allow you (as players on the team), the opportunity to offer Halo lessons on HaloBoards.com with our new lessons system! Currently, I am the only one in the lessons system, so if you'd like to purchase lessons from me, simply navigate to the lessons system and check it out. The only things required to purchase lessons are a free HaloBoards.com account (all you need to do is register to get one, if you aren't already a member of the site.) and a paypal account.

If your team is selected to represent HaloBoards.com, being a part of the team will give you the opportunity to help pay for the rest of your expenses to make it to events. A percentage of each lesson will be kept by HaloBoards.com for site expenses etc. (I'd like to come to some events to coach), but the rest will go to you to help cover the cost of each trip.

In any case not every detail has been ironed out, but let everyone know, we're looking for a team to sponsor. I'm primarily interested in players that have had previous tournament experience and are looking to get a financial boost to help them make it to the various MLG events.

This thread will be updated as more details are provided. Spread the word. We're looking to sponsor a team for the season opener.

Teams that are going to the opener have already (or should have already) paid for there tickets and everything is complete. You might want to look into this the next tourny (in June)

Sounds good really are you considering sponsering single individual entry fees for FFA halogod or are you primarily going to focus on paying the entry fee for 4v4 teams?

i think those were only the first bunch, the rest have still yet to be sold, so theres still a chance, as roster finalizations dont end until the 9th (i believe)

Just saying. The more familiar teams to Gamingvidz and Haloboards have probably already bought there hotel room, even tickets, plane tickets and are probably already set for Charlotte.
