New Site Rules - Please read

1. No flaming / verbal attacks on other members. Now we all may get into arguments occasionally, but once you start verbally attacking another member it's too far. You will be issued an infraction for repeated instances of flaming / verbal attacks. After a certain number of infractions you will be automatically banned for at least 3 days. Please act mature and enjoy what GamingVidz has to offer.

2. No Advertising. A lot of work has gone into this site to get it to where it's at now and we will not tolerate people coming onto our forums to advertise their websites (or others). The only websites that are allowed to be posted are the big ones (i.e. Bungie.net, GameSpot.com, TeamXbox.com, Youtube videos etc.) or our affiliates. We also do not allow advertising in signatures. If you wish to affiliate with your site, send me a private message to discuss it further. Or you can purchase a featured listing on the front page of the site.

3. Signatures can not exceed 500 x 300 pixles in images and may contain 3 lines of text. The reason for the restriction is to help reduce forum clutter and increase site load times.

4. Signatures / Avatars / Posted Pictures or Videos may not contain suggestive images (this is a gaming forum after all, not a grown up magazine).

5. Spamming is now a bannable offense. If you continue to make worthless threads and posts then you will be given an infraction. Repeated spamming will result in being banned. i.e. No comments like "1st PostZ0rZ" after a new video is posted. Simply avoid pointless posting and you'll be fine.

6. Don't be a jerk. GamingVidz is a cool community for gamers to hang out, discuss games, post videos and have a good time so please don't ruin it for the rest of us that want to have fun.

Infraction system:

If you receive an infraction for violating one of the above rules, look at the post where you were given the infraction and try to avoid the same behavior next time. If you receive 15 infraction points you will be automatically banned for 3 days. All infractions have an expiration date, it's not like a criminal record. Only the admins, moderators and you will be able to view your infraction's.

If you are continuously found to be causing trouble and being an all around jerk to site members then you will be permanetely banned.

None of the above rules are meant as a threat, rather they are here to provide some order. Be cool and enjoy the site and you'll be fine. If you see a rule violation (i.e. someone advertising) simply use the report post button found in the lower left hand corner of every post to report the issue.
