Bans will be issued more frequently now

Why would the moderators NOT have banning powers? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Hopefully this will help with some of the attitudes around here, but I'm kind of frightened...I've never been banned from a forum, and I don't want to start by not cowering to Ephrum.

Eh its not bad just go look at some porno instead of GV. I got banned for like 3 or 5 days before. For making fun of Lucks and Quinns Relationship together.

Good, now lets just hope that mods decide to do there job better, and if nothing else can be done to fix a situation, now they can issue bans

im gunna be 100% honest, and i think that giving the mods banning powers is a good idea, i just feel, like some of them, arent to mature at times...

but i think the whole jerk thing, wont really work with the mods, i mean, some of the more "controversial" memebers that have been here for a long time, are really good friends with the mods, so i dont think that they will ever get perma banned, by a mod, but where as, i find, the admins, dont have so much of a social relationship with alot of the people here, so i dont think that they would have a hard as time doing it

i hope you guys see what i mean, cause i sure dont

i see your point craka, im certain me and THG would have no problems bannin any member of the site if it was warrented, but we have assigned these moderators cause we believe them to be impartial, and so far thats what they have proved to be, hopefully that will continue with the added power to ban, i think it will, and if it doesnt THG and myself have the necessary power to act on it, the least we can do is try it and hopefully it will be beneficial to the site.....

Well, that's not to say that the jerk rule is the only one in affect, rather I just want to try and get people to remember that at the end of the day, we're here because we like to play video games. There shouldn't need to be a rule and people should just be nice, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. I know the moderators will do a good job taking care of the people that need to be banned wether they're staff members or not, but I will be dealing with staff members that tend to cause problems. In the end, the staff members are human too. We all can get a little angry at times, but everyone's going to make a better effort of keeping it cool and I think we'll be alright.
