Well I had always said something like a few thousand dollars. It's not necessarily the money per se but the forum software, custom theme, migrating to new server, helping new owner, I could also host the site for X period of months etc. etc.

Could even look at moving this forum database into someone elses so that all of the old forum posts are still there.

Thing is I don't think anyone wants to pay anyway though.

On another note I still lurk around here every few months. There's no way that I've got the time to moderate anymore.

As other have said it would be painful to see the site go, had so many good memories on here.
