While I completely agree that music is definatly a personal preference... I've grown to realize that the use of music in montages these days in my eyes, really needs to reflect and compliment the person's playing style... say GuNNa for instance... he's got more of a raw playing style, that's more 'real' IMO...his playing style works really well with the kind of raw rap beat... the footage that PhaLanX gets and uses is usually really clean, his footage works the best IMO with a song that's got a steady maybe slower, harder beat... usually goes better with some kind of slower yet heavier rock... 90% of the songs I use in my montages, are songs I like, but songs I usually don't like...ever listen to. I pick songs that I feel that I can edit well to, not to songs that are my absolute favorite, because I think that songs should compliment the montage, and not just be thrown in because you really like them.

people who are regulars or have seniority at this site should most likely be hosted out of respect.....so if your a regular, i dont think you should worry to much about it

I agree to an extent, but it should be a privelege(sp) to get hosted, not a right just because you are a member.

new system is good and i kind of agree with frank. If you are respected and come out with a montage that isnt TOTALLY bad then i still think it should be hosted

I disagree. I think that if it isn't entertaining and fairly good, it should not be hosted no matter who made it.
