Actually I was talking about the quality of teh MPEG-2's but it wouldn't hurt to know what quality you export to

MPEG-2

Deinterlacing Options: De-interlace
NTSC 720x480

P Frames 4 ( The frames should be set at this already)
B Frames 2

Max Bit Rate 10 mbit a second
Target 8 mbit a second
Motion Estimate Quality 100
Audio 224 k a sec

The rest I don't think I changed, but this will only matter if you are using an ATI TV Wonder Pro.

Ok thanks, I'll be sure to get that capture card when I get mine, my friend wasn't sure about the quality to capture to. Also if it's not a problem, What quality did you export to (I have Adobe Premiere Pro also)?

I'll figure that out and post it tomorrow. Sleep now...

I know that its best to be 720 x 480 (You select this by going to audiences after selecting windows media video). The select your bit rate, my untouchable one is only 1.3 mb per second bit rate. But the key about making anything related to video is the higher your quality is before you compress the better it will be in the end.

So my untouchable montage was over 20 gb's of raw .avi footage, but after compressing it was only 45 mb.

Well, if you got that equipment, then you'd know what I was talking about. It's kind of like you gotta see it to know it.

We're working on an ATI affiliation, which could possibly get you cheaper capture cards and stuff. I'll keep you posted.

ATI is sweet.

ATI + Adobe = Shekshi And by shekshi I mean sexy. And by sexy I mean what TheHaloGod's and VendettA's montages/trailers (respectively ) are. haha.
