Your ATI Card should've came with a purple box with a cable.... you plug the cable to the capture card and your plug in the "RCA" cables INTO the box...yellow is video red and white are L/R audio.....

Lockout low quality - 02-20-2006, 04:13 PM
Hey i have noticed that on some of the darker levels (warlock, midship and lockout) some montages are very low on the quality as far as gameplay is cncerned. I also noticed that on the little clip you have posted as a preview it is on a fairly lit level. What level of quality can I expect on the above mentioned, and similar, levels with the method you have explained? Any feedback would be awesome because I am trying to make movie quality montages and I can't stand it when I can't see what is going on. Thanks.

I run THG's set up... I have problems with the capture being dark on a lot of levels...well... a few of them...and only in the dark places of the levels... (except on waterworks...because that entire level is one big shadow)...
But it's easy to fix if you're using Premiere... you just add the "levels" effect to whichever clip you think looks too dark... and you adjust it accordingly. It's like, 3 steps, and takes you maybe 5 seconds to fix.
