people do it just to get the # by there name even if they didnt deserve it thats all people care about now

Yeah, anyone who cares about a number next to their gamertag needs friends.

When modding first became popular, I did care about a number next to my gamertag. I wanted it to be a cool number 1. So, I got 3 friends, and de-leveled as low as possible. I got down to around 7 overall before modding became fairly rare. Then I played matchmaking again and got a 31. In which I felt special until the majority of my friends list became upsessed with matchmaking and got 35+ ranks.

I should try and get a 37, mainlt because the colors/shape of it look a lot cooler than a 31...lol

the way people cheat on this game is stupid! If you want a high number on ur name earn it! even though that doesnt show ur true skill! Because you could be playing with people who are really good and go 20 and 8 when you go 8 and 15! So **** matchmaking it doesnt show true skill anyway!

^^ agreed. Hell, my clan (mainly 31s and 32s) beat (legit) 44s 3v3 in clanmatches. Rank means nothing.
