i know this will help some people out...but i was just hoping that the people who have like 2 or 3 montages already already knew most of this stuff because if they didnt..then thats why most montages lately are just thrown togather

and you cant expect anything great from people who just one day bought a cap card..and bugged a friend on how to use it..then made a montage....they dont know any better...and i guess they just think they can get a few no scopes and become the next reid 18

i think people dont understand how much work and thought are really put behind great montages, and i dont think people understand how much thought and work are put behind under rated montages

this excludes shook 0n3..he sux ass...and got lucky

the reason I wrote this guide is because too many Halo 2 fragvids are bad and are sloppy on all aspects. If i wouldve posted this guide on own-age.com, I would be wasting everyone's time because these things are very well known. In Halo 2 communities they arent. Only a few know about the synching techniques, about the effect types, etc. Like you said and I agree 100%, people dont put the time and effort to make a good fragvid.

yea through all games, every comunnity calls them Fragmovies/Fragvids. Because they are vids of frags(kills). For some reason H2 communities started with "montage". Although it is a montage, its more vague than saying fragvid.

I wrote this from my own head and havent been on MLG pro for a very very long time(1.5 years+). When i used to go there, I didnt care about editing.
If you have seen this on MLGpro, chances are that the person has taken the same source as me or just thinks like me when it comes to editing.
Also, this isnt MLG pro. Many sites have members with their own guides who talk about the same ideas because these are the basics.

I wrote this with Fei who doesnt like Halo 2 anyway.

And if you are thinking I copied or anything like that, then kindly go find that tutorial and show me because implying that I copied someone is nothing short of insulting.
Go find the so called tutorial and revise it because I think in 1 year, your memory has lost info.

I found this very helpful and I bookmarked it, and also, Kindred, when i start to make my Fragvid (I'm going to start calling it that because montages are actually compilations of pictures, not vudei clips), would you mind if I asked you questions and stuff?
