my capturecard not working!

i need help with the capture card when i go to studio version 9 when i go to capture on the computer its black it dont show what i see on tv.. how do i make it so i can see all i can do is hear

are you splitting the video? Or, are you just using the video out on your tv?

that happened to me the problem was the cc i was using required usb 2.0 and i didnt have it maybe thats the problem
