Does anyone have a Sony DVR Handycam - 03-06-2007, 07:59 PM
I was wondering if anyone has this because I have trouble extracting the videos. What do I do?

Yeah, frank is right, you have to use firewire to get it to your computer. Unless you are trying that right now and it is not registering the camcorder or something. You can get a sony brand iLink cable or just a regular firewire cable works too. You will just need to know if you need a 4-4 pin, or a 4-6 pin.

When you bought it it should have come with an installation cd, that would have the program you would need for that. But I would suggest getting a firewire cable. It is going to be a slightly faster transfer and you will lose less quality on your video.
