If any of you would be willing to download this clip and render it to a wmv and see if you are able to get a decent result I'd be grateful.

Basically I want to see if the semi-poor quality that I am able to produce is a result of my computer/software or if it is the capture card.

The raw mpg looks good but when I convert and render it loses a lot of quality.

Also, feel free to steal this uber 1337 footage for your montage.

I would do it if I was home... but Im at work, so I cant.

Plus, i'd never risk stealing your footage and saying it was my own. No one would ever believe I could get such pwnz0r footage.

Very cool. I did notice though that the sound is just slightly out of synch.

Just pop it into Xilisoft Video Converter and put these settings:

But change the bitrate around to lower size. The 9MB clip was with 3000kbps and the 7MB was 2000kbps.

I wonder if the sound was off because you had stereo selected when it was a mono feed....(I didnt have enough splitters to do stereo).
