Ok I'm making a video sig tutorial video, and its going well. I finished it and I'm just at the point where I'm going to render it as an .avi, then open that back up in vegas and render it as a .wmv - a technique i learned to automatically compress with vegas? hmm...
anyway, throughout making it, the little preview screen on the bottom right showed it nice and clear and perfect when I would play the video while making it. BUt when I go to render it as an .avi, and it starts to render it, it shows up as a shitty black mess with the icons of my desktop barely visible. Do i have to re-install vegas, and/or get a new version or something? How come it won't clearly render it as an .avi when the preview screen shows it clear everytime i play it. help plz!!! i wanna get this sig tutorial out. -Cal

srry ya'll, been uber busy with school and work. Only time I have on my computer, which is insanely little, is used for writing papers and playing starcraft. DONT HATE MEEEE lol
I had free time a few days ago to make this, and I'd really like to post it. Anyone have any suggestions to my problem? Its frustrating to get this far thru a project and have it not render properly. Maybe I'll try to re-install vegas...bleh HELP MEEE haha

maybe you can send the veg file + video to someone or put it on another comp.

thats the problem tho tony, when i try to render it as an avi through vegas, it comes up with like "a black overlay layer on 'hard light'". think of it that way..
It looks so shitty. I can't even render it as a .avi.
