WMM wont recognize DVC 90 - 03-31-2007, 08:01 AM

i have the vista version of WMM, which in xp i just used to capture since the pinnacle software blows. So, when i finally got the driver that works with vista with my capture card, i open up WMM to start capturing. I selected import from digital camera, and i got an error message saying that WMM couldn't find the device. Am i doing something wrong, or does vista WMM not support DVC's and captrure cards?

I think you need Windows media encoder.. or something like that.
I'm not sure if WMM supports the capture devices..

WMM blows, capture with Vegas or something where you can tweak the settings to the best.

Vegas FTW! And it's fairly easy to use too. But you may need the encoder. I think we are all still figuring Vista out. I've personally only touched it once.
